Nothing to do with Knitting, Quilting or Crocheting: 2014 Snowstorm in Georgia

When it snows in Georgia or at least in Columbia County everything stops.  We got 2-3 inches of snow on top of a layer of sleet on Tuesday.  Wednesday morning the roads were still a little icy but by noon it was 30 degrees and the roads at least in my neighborhood are mostly black.  However school is already closed again for Thursday and no doubt will be for Friday or at the very least delayed.

Charlotte dancing in the snow having a good time

Charlotte: "Come on Wilbur let's play!!"
Wilbur: "It's cold I don't want to"

Charlotte:  "But look how much fun it is to play in Wilbur!"

Wilbur: "I'm freezing and you want to take pictures. Really?"

Combination Baby Blanket

This baby blanket is a combination of two different patterns.  The body is from the Bunny-Ear Blankie pattern and the edging is from the Double Ruffled Baby Blanket Pattern for Begginers.  Both are free crochet patterns.  The yarns are Baby Bee Sweet Delight in baby pink camo and ruffle in pink boo.

Bunny Ear Blanket

Halloween Table Runner

I made several table runners from the pattern Pumpkin Patch The Pottery Collection using batik fabrics from my stash.  Each of the kitties can be made into separate items which I may make over the course of this year as additional gifts for next year, pot holders, towels etc.
